The Power of Vulnerability

I feel like there’s nothing I’m gonna say here right now that’s going to do justice to the importance of the work that Brene Brown has done in the past 12+ years.  I’m pretty sure the following 2011 TED Talk entitled The Power of Vulnerability “put her on the map,” and helped to spread the word of her work.

She then followed it up in 2012 with the Ted Talk called Listening to Shame, seen below:

While I’ve posted her TED Talks here, please know that what she has to say barely touches the surface of her full message, a message that is so well spoken about in her talk given to an audience of about 300 in 2013 over the course of six sessions. This Sounds True event was called The Power of Vulnerability: Teachings of Authenticity, Connection, and Courage.

I think everyone could benefit from listening to these six sessions. It could potentially change the way you look at yourself, your relationships, and the world at large. I know it has for me.
